JEDDAH: Consultant at the Secretariat General of the Cabinet Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khatib met South African Minister of Defense Nosiviwe Mapis-Nqakula in Jeddah on Thursday.
Al-Khatib, who is also chairman of the board of directors for military industries, said in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that the meeting discussed cooperation in the military industries.
He said that a plan for cooperation in developing the advanced defense military systems industry was made, noting that discussions would continue between the two countries to implement a joint program aiming to transfer and nationalize military industries to the Kingdom according to Vision 2030.
